Caustic Soda Pearls
The caustic soda chemical name is Sodium Hydroxide. It is a popular strong basic alkaline chemical raw material used in industry and is mainly used in papermaking, soap making, textile industry, printing and dyeing, metallurgy, chemical fiber, pesticide, pharmacy industry, food additive industry, petrochemical industry, power industry, and water treatment industries.
Usage :
Widely used in Metallurgy, Petroleum, Chemicals, Textile, Paper Making, Printing and Dyeing, Soap Industry, Pharmacy and Food Industry, Metal Hard Wares, etc.
Calcium Carbide
Calcium carbide is a powerful and effective chemical reducing agent. Nowhere is this more evident than in the field of metallurgy, where it is added to liquid iron and steel through subsurface pneumatic powder injection in order to remove sulfur impurities prior to the final steelmaking process. In modern steelmaking operations, the need for lower sulfur steels demanded by modern continuous casting operations and specialty applications has increased calcium carbide’s appeal as a hot metal desulfurized.
Product Application :
1). The main raw material for producing acetylene gas.
2). Cutting and welding for metal material.
3). To synthesize polyvinyl chloride(PVC).
4). Fruit catalyst.
5). The basic material for organic synthesis and calcium cyanamide.
6). Reacting with water to bring about Ethine.
7). Reacting with nitrogen to produce lime nitrogen.
8). The Desulfurizer in the steel industry.
Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP)
Sodium tripolyphosphate, also known as pentasodium triphosphate, pentasodium tripolyphosphate or sodium triphosphate, is used in a wide range of applications in the manufacture of cleaning products and food preservatives as well as in water treatment facilities.
Other uses of sodium tripolyphosphate include petroleum refining, metallurgy, mine applications, and water treatment. The last application is made possible by its pH buffering ability, meaning that it can “soften” acidic water by neutralizing its acidity. This quality is one of the reasons it is added to detergents.
Sodium tripolyphosphate is used in meat processing, seafood, frozen shrimp, sausage, and modified starch.
Improved water holding capacity of meat and seafood products, Denaturation of proteins prevention. Stabilising the colour of the products, Improved texture of meat and seafood products.
Phosphoric Acid
Phosphorus is an essential plant nutrient and is taken up by plant roots, usually as the dihydrogen phosphate ion, H2PO4-, derived from phosphoric acid, H3PO4. The manufacture of fertilizers that are used to rectify phosphorus deficiencies in soils depends on the availability of supplies of phosphoric acid.
Uses of phosphoric acid
About 90% of the phosphoric acid produced is used to make fertilizers. It is mainly converted into three phosphate salts which are used as fertilizers. They are triple superphosphate (TSP), dominum hydrogen phosphate (DAP), and monoammonium dihydrogen phosphate (MAP).
Product Application :
Phosphoric acid, also called orthophosphoric acid, (H3PO4), the most important oxygen acid of phosphorus, is used to make phosphate salts for fertilizers. It is also used in dental cement, in the preparation of albumin derivatives, and in the sugar and textile industries. It serves as an acidic, fruit-like flavoring in food products.
